Anthony Bongo Named Assistant Superintendent by New Rochelle BOE

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Dr. Anthony Bongo has been appointed as Assistant Superintendent for Pupil Services by the New Rochelle Board of Education.

The board approved a resolution tonight naming the longtime Principal at Isaac E. Young Middle School effective March 1st and runs until June 30, 2020.

Assistant Principal Tawanda Robinson has been appointed as Principal at Isaac E. Young Middle School.

Bongo will replace interim Assistant Superintendent Amy Goodman.

Amy Goodman, under contract until the end of the current school year, will assist Dr. Bongo as he transitions into his new role. The Board recently reassigned a portion of Dr. Parvey’s workload —- performance reviews of principles department chairs —- to Goodman.
