NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A woman surrendered to New Rochelle Police after her son called police stating she was in a bedroom armed with knives.
Multiple units responded to a residence at May Street and Lockwood Avenue around 8 am Monday. The woman had dropped the knives before officers got there and complied with their directives, according to police.
The woman was taken into custody for evaluation.
