Talk of the Sound Question for New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo

Press Conference on Friday, January 29, 2021 (not asked due to limit on questions from reporters)

Just sat through another excruciatingly long-winded press conference held by @NYGovCuomo where only a handful of reporters got to ask questions.

Here is the question we prepared.

Maybe next time.

——

New Rochelle has been hit particularly hard by the state response to COVID-19 — schools and houses of worship were shut down first, the National Guard was sent in first, the largest park in New Rochelle was the first turned into a drive-thru coronavirus testing center, and it remains closed to the public today, large parts of the City were declared a yellow zone, and most recently the state shut down Montefiore New Rochelle hospital which was the only vaccine provider in the City.

Those who did get their first shots at Montefiore are now being sent to Westchester Medical Center and New Rochelle no longer has a vaccine provider while new people are being sent to other sites outside of New Rochelle.

Do you think it fair to effectively punish first responders, teachers and the elderly because a hospital administrator cooked up an illegal deal with the New Rochelle Mayor?

What can you do to give New Rochelle back a large-scale vaccine provider and its largest public park?

  1. This wind bag, who has blatantly lied and refuses to acknowledge that under his order and his decision to house Covid patients in NY nursing homes led to thousands of deaths, needs to answer for his asinine reasoning. How dare he minimize the tragedy that resulted from his policy making. People died, yes, but it wasn’t one of his loved ones who died!
