  1. The Main street manager worked out well…. so should this ….LOL…….i guess another city official’s girlfriend needs a job???

  2. I thought the city was in the equal opportunity employer isn’t that the job of the Personnel director excuse me Commissioner of Human Resources city Workforce is supposed to represent the community if you really want to go there there’s not enough African-American Or Hispanic in the Fire and Police Department and not enough Caucasian Or Hispanic in public works

  3. So after decades of the Bramson/Strome rule over New Rochelle, the staff had an epiphany and reached the conclusion that the ultra-liberal democrat mayor and his loyal side-kick city manger did not include sufficient diversity in hiring and staff training during the previous years of their reign. Did they not read Arnold Klugman’s little red book (illustrated by George Latimer)? Shame on them. Now they will coerce the rubber-stamp City Council to plunge into tax payers pockets and continue their quest to bloat the city hall bureaucracy and budget to nauseating proportions.

I guarantee there’s a connected person who needs a job and the job qualifications for Director of Diversity will get “engineered” to suit, perhaps a very specific master’s degree or narrowly defined former job experience.

    Stop the bloat.

  4. So glad we finally have a local government, taxpayer funded position to address our greatest issue!

Remember folks, all animals are equal, but some are more equal.
