New Rochelle Man Pleads Guilty to Obscenity Charges in Fake-Semen Squirt Case

NEW ROCHELLE, NY (September 13, 2022) — Marco Medina, 27, of New Rochelle, NY pleaded guilty Thursday to 2 counts of Obscenity – 3rd, Class A misdemeanors, as part of a plea agreement.

Appearing before Judge Eileen Songer-McCarthy in New Rochelle City Court, Medina was immediately sentenced by to one year interim probation.

Under the plea deal, if Medina successfully completes his probation, the Obscenity charges will be vacated, and he will plead guilty to 2 counts of Disorderly Conduct with a two-year Temporary Order of Protection. If he fails to complete his one-year probation, he can get a sentence of 3 years probation. If Medina is charged with Obscenity in the next 10 years, the charge would be a felony.

Medina was arrested following a series of incidents in August 2021 where Medina squirted a while liquid meant to mimic semen onto women walking in New Rochelle.

A total of four victims were identified, with two females victimized three times each.

In all the incidents, the suspect squirted an unknown white liquid, intended to mimic semen, out of a squirt bottle onto the back of the victim. A lab analysis of the substance collected in one incident revealed no DNA.

According to New Rochelle Police, on August 25th at 12:38 pm, an adult female appeared at Police Headquarters and reported that at about 8:10 am, while walking in the vicinity of 211 North Avenue, she noticed a male following her. As the female boarded the bus, another female stated to her, “he threw something on your back.” The female victim observed the suspect walk southbound on North Avenue towards Main Street.

At about 2:30 pm, a New Rochelle Police Officer observed a suspect matching the description in front of 35 May Street and arrested Medina.
