Lincoln Ave Community Comes Together to Celebrate the Life of James Caldwell (Boogie Nation)

NEW ROCHELLE, NY (October 28, 2022) — Hundreds of family, friends and neighbors came together Friday night in front of 33 Lincoln Avenue to remember James Caldwell, Jr.

Caldwell, who grew up in New Rochelle and performed under the name Boogie Nation, was a well-regarded up and coming hip-hop artist with two albums to his credit.

Caldwell is a verified artist on Spotify and his music is available on Apple Music and Instagram. He release a new album, The Cost of Loyalty, on May 31, 2022. His first album, Under One Nation, came out in 2020.

He died tragically on Wednesday at the age of 29. Police continue to investigate the shooting which took the life of the up and coming artist.

Caldwell was one of five children growing up in New Rochelle. He recently became a father.
