WHITE PLAINS, NY (April 2, 2026) — A Georgia man indicted in 2024 for the fatal shooting of his girlfriend inside a New Rochelle apartment remains held without bail at the Westchester County Jail; his next court appearance is scheduled for April 9.
Robert Wooten is charged under indictment number IND-72555-24/001 with two counts of murder, including intentional murder and murder in the second degree during the commission of a specified felony, both Class A felonies.
Wooten is also charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, including possession of a loaded firearm, both Class C felonies, and criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, a Class D felony.
