WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY (October 15, 2023) — Another large-scale Drivers of Violence Enforcement (DOVE) operation was conducted earlier this month in Westchester County, targeting violent offenders and various crimes.
More than 25 police departments from Westchester, Putnam, and Fairfield Counties, along with the New York City Police Department, New York State Police, and federal partners, participated in the operation. The Westchester-Putnam Real Time Crime Center coordinated the operation.
The operation led to over 231 motor vehicle stops, 27 arrests, 70 summonses, and several pursuits. Multiple stolen vehicles were recovered.

Significant outcomes included arrests for narcotics possession, including crack cocaine and fentanyl, DWI, and Vehicle & Traffic Law offenses. Two suspects were detained in connection with an NYPD shooting investigation. Authorities also made several warrant apprehensions and developed intelligence related to gang activity.
