CLINTONVILLE, WI (April 29, 2026) — The New Rochelle Fire Department’s new Ladder 12, a Seagrave Marauder 100-foot, 500-pound Force Non-Quint Rear-Mount Aerial apparatus, passed its final inspection at Seagrave Fire Apparatus in Clintonville, Wisconsin on April 27–28, the department announced.
The NRFD Fleet Services crew traveled to the Seagrave factory to put the new truck through its paces. The inspection trip was hosted by Hudson Valley Fire Equipment, whose sales representative, Santo Curro, facilitated the sale.

Members of the department who attended the inspection included Chief of Department Andrew Sandor, Lt. Daniel Betker, Firefighter Vincent Costa, NRFD Mechanic John Papapugna and NRFD Mechanic Joseph Carcia.
Following the inspection, Ladder 12 will travel to Hudson Valley Fire Equipment for upfitting and is expected to be placed in service by late June.

Ladder 12 operates out of Station 2, known as the Rock, and serves as the first-due ladder truck to the West End of New Rochelle. The unit responds to all high-rise calls in the city and, along with Engine 22, provides mutual aid to departments throughout Lower Westchester.
