New Rochelle Woman Charged in Taconic Parkway Pursuit After Striking Police Vehicle

YORKTOWN, NY (June 10, 2026) — A New Rochelle woman was arrested after leading state troopers on a pursuit on the Taconic State Parkway that ended with her vehicle striking a police car and crashing in Putnam County.

Keanna L. Hogue, 29, of New Rochelle, was taken into custody shortly after fleeing on foot Tuesday following the crash in the Town of Kent.

On June 9, 2026, at approximately 12:33 p.m., members of the Troop K Community Stabilization Unit, with assistance from the Yorktown Police Department and the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, attempted to stop a stolen 2020 Toyota RAV4 traveling northbound on the Taconic State Parkway in the Town of Yorktown. The vehicle had been broadcast by the Westchester Real Time Crime Center prior to the stop.

The operator failed to comply, and a pursuit was initiated. During the pursuit, the operator intentionally struck a Yorktown Police Department patrol vehicle. The officer was not injured. Members of the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office successfully deployed a tire deflation device near Pudding Street, and the vehicle later crashed on the Taconic State Parkway in the Town of Kent.

Hogue was transported to State Police Stormville and charged with criminal mischief in the second degree, a Class D felony; criminal possession of stolen property in the third degree, a Class D felony; six counts of reckless endangerment in the second degree, Class A misdemeanors; obstructing governmental administration in the second degree, a Class A misdemeanor; unlawful fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle in the third degree, a Class A misdemeanor; and multiple Vehicle and Traffic Law violations.

Following processing, Hogue was turned over to the Pelham Manor Police Department, the originating agency investigating the vehicle theft.
