NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. (June 24, 2026) — The Boys & Girls Club of New Rochelle’s Remington Clubhouse will soon become the home of New Rochelle High School’s Huguenot Academy. Starting July 1, 2026, this move marks the return of a dedicated educational program to New Rochelle’s historic Lincoln neighborhood for the first time since the 1960s.
The Boys & Girls Club has established a five-year agreement with the City School District of New Rochelle to create an educational hub for the high school’s alternative program. This partnership provides Huguenot Academy students with access to the Boys & Girls Club’s renowned career development and afterschool programs, which have made it a leading youth-development organization in Westchester County.

Reynolds. “It’s a win-win that offers a state-of-the-art academic setting while preserving our small, student-centered learning environment.”
The Board of Education of the City School District of New Rochelle authorized the five-year lease at its June 17, 2026 meeting.
