For decades, traffic around Trinity Elementary School has frustrated New Rochelle residents, especially those trying to get in and out of Davenport Neck. I pulled together what I could find about the school’s move to Pelham Road, later expansions, years of city traffic studies and restrictions, and earlier efforts to improve circulation on school property. Now I’m crowdsourcing the missing history — including old committee reports, school board records and firsthand accounts from people who remember what happened.
