RYE, NY (September 24, 2026) — Playland Park in Rye will once again transform into a haunted destination as Scared by the Sound returns for its 25th year on Friday, October 9. The popular Halloween attraction will feature over 12,000 square feet of haunted houses and spooky surprises.
Scared by the Sound will operate on Fridays through Sundays in October, concluding with special events from Thursday, October 29, to Saturday, October 31. Kid-friendly matinees will be held on October 24 and 25, offering a lighter Halloween experience with vendors and goody bags.
