Westchester County Launches Property Alert Service

WHITE PLAINS, NY (September 28, 2026) — Westchester County Clerk Tom Roach has launched a new Property Alert Service to help property owners stay informed about their land records. The service is designed to notify residents via email when documents such as deeds or mortgages are recorded with the County Clerk’s Office that match their registered name or property address.

“I applaud County Clerk Roach on this effort,” said Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins. “Property owners should have an easy way to know when activity involving their name or property appears in our land records, and this free service puts another tool directly in the hands of residents.”

Roach emphasized the modernization effort, stating, “This is just the latest project to modernize the County Clerk’s Office. We want to be as timely and efficient as possible and this is one way to make things easier for residents.”

How the Property Alert Service Works

Property owners can voluntarily register their name or address through the secure WCCPAS platform. Once registered, they will receive an email notification whenever a document matching their information is recorded. This allows residents to review the information and take any necessary actions.

The service is provided free of charge and aims to provide residents with an additional way to monitor their property records. Residents can register for the Westchester County Clerk Property Alert Service today here.
