New Rochelle Police And City Might Agree On Contract

The New Rochelle Police Association (PBA) and the City of New Rochelle have come to terms on a 10 year deal contract,according to reports from the Journal News City Manager Charles Strome ||| stated Thursday morning.
The contract that requires ratification by the City Council and from the PBA union members is retroactive to 2010 and extends through 2019. The contract calls for raises of 1.5% for the first two years; 2% for the next 3 years; and 3% from year 2015 through 2019.
The starting salary for a new officer was lowered from $50,310 to $45,279 as of July of this year.
