WHITE PLAINS, NY — County Executive Robert P. Astorino and FBI Special Agent in Charge Aristedes Mahairas are introducing Harley, only one of a few dogs around the country trained to detect electronic devices, such as computers, cellphones and USB-drives. Harley and her handler, Westchester County Police Detective Brett Hochron, will demonstrate the highly trained canine’s capabilities to sniff out hidden or discarded digital media devices.
Harley and Detective Hochron have been assigned to the FBI’s Cyber Division and will assist in a wide range of investigations, including financial crimes, child pornography and counter-terrorism cases.
