NEW ROCHELLE, NY –CNR Blue Angel’s took on conference rivals, Berkeley College on Monday evening. CNR started off the game strong, but eventually lost the game 3-1. After winning the first two conference games of the season, CNR now stands at 2-4, 2-1.
CNR’s first and only goal came in the 14th minute of the match by Heber Maldonado which was assisted by David Corredor. After one half of play, the score was 1-1 after Omario Rosen from Berkeley scored in the 37th minute of the half. Berkeley went on to score first in the second half and never looked back. Goal keeper Dante Pulido had 5 saves on the night.
CNR men’s soccer look to bounce back Wednesday evening at 5:00 PM as they travel to take on Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
