The new garages, located at 11 Garden Street, 2 Clinton Park, and The Skyline Garage, provide a combined total of 196 new parking spaces. The expansion includes 80 spaces at Skyline, 80 at 2 Clinton Park, and 36 at 11 Garden Street, marking a 10% increase in downtown parking capacity.
“Connectivity is fundamental to a thriving community, and parking plays a critical role in how people experience our city day to day,” said City Manager Wilfredo Melendez. “These three new garages are part of a comprehensive approach to improving mobility.”
The expansion is part of a broader effort to modernize parking, as outlined in the Downtown Parking Management Strategic Plan. The plan aims to assess current and future needs and identify more efficient parking solutions.
