RYE, NY (August 13, 2026) — The City of Rye Police Department has announced the arrest of Max G. Basch, 36, of Rye, following an incident on July 28, 2026.
Basch faces charges of Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree, a felony, along with Making Graffiti and Possession of Graffiti Instruments. Police allege Basch was found with graffiti instruments and that graffiti was discovered on a Con Edison electrical substation in the area of Five Points.
