  1. Fantastic
What a fantastic idea. I was in particular struck by the slide that said something like “New Rochelle was once known as the Greenwich Village without the Greenwich.”

The key to revitalizing the downtown area I think is through encouraging more events along these lines as to make New Rochelle an arts destination again.

  2. The video links don’t seem
The video links don’t seem to work, but an Arts festival would be awesome!!!

    1. video issue resolved
Oops. YouTube had trouble converting the video format used by the City of New Rochelle so I had to convert the video to a different format. I fixed the first one and fixing the second one now.

      Apologies for any confusion.

The first clip is the presentation; the second clip is the council reaction.

      1. Thanks!
        I finally got around

        Thanks!

I finally got around to watching these and am quite excited about the idea of this – I think it would be great! (looking at this both from the perspective of a resident, but also from the perspective of someone who is building a career as a professional musician)

Also, I hardly see how a festival going until 10PM is a disturbance to residents … if it was going later, I could understand that point, but otherwise, it seems like a reasonable time-frame, especially for a festival lasting less than a week.
