TALK OF THE SOUND SCORECARD: Who is Speaking Out and Who is Silent on New Rochelle Police Detective Vaccaro

It may be difficult for many readers to understand or appreciate who is speaking out and who is not when it comes to the matter of New Rochelle Police Detective Michael Vaccaro. There is a lot of inside baseball, so we are creating a scorecard. We will update this information as new information becomes available and circumstances change. If you have additional information or a suggested edit, we want to hear from you.

Our scorecard amounts to maintaining a running list of who has spoken out and who has not on the “police brutality” video of Vaccaro punching and kicking a black man on Main Street, then grinding his face into the pavement.

We are listing relevant organizations and individual members of those organizations and individuals who represent organizations with the caveat that an individual may represent or be part of an organization that took a position but also a member or representative of another organization that did not; regardless, they will be indicated as having taken a position anytime their name appears on the list.
