New Rochelle Man Shot in Leg in Targeted Shooting

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A 29-year-old man was shot once in the leg while walking on Horton Avenue in New Rochelle late Friday night.

The victim, a new resident to the area, appears to have been targeted, according to police. The victim was transported to Jacobi Hospital for treatment, and according to Hospital Staff the injury is non-life threatening.

On Friday, November 27th at about 11:54 p.m., New Rochelle Police Officers responded to the vicinity of Horton Avenue and Brook Street on a report of a shooting.

The investigation remains active, and no further information will be released at this time.
